How the gasket is built

PU Foam Core
A low-density polyurethane foam forms the core, providing compressibility and spring-back. Its softness allows effective sealing on irregular mating surfaces with minimal closure torque.

Ni/Cu Conductive Fabric Wrap
The foam is wrapped in an electrically conductive polyester fabric woven with Nickel and Copper metal fibers, creating a continuous conductive path between the gasket surface and enclosure walls.

PSA Adhesive Backing
A pressure sensitive adhesive is applied to one face. Choose Conductive PSA for through-adhesive grounding, or Non-Conductive PSA for standard mechanical mounting applications.

How do I specify the correct gasket size?

Provide the cross-section profile (width × height in mm), total length or perimeter, and whether the gasket needs to form a closed frame or open strip. Our team will confirm the fit and suggest compression ratios for your enclosure closure force.
What is the difference between Conductive and Non-Conductive PSA?

Conductive PSA allows current to flow through the adhesive layer itself, enabling EMI grounding even when the gasket is bonded to a non-metallic surface. Non-Conductive PSA is used for pure mechanical fixation where grounding is achieved via compression of the fabric face to the mating metal surface.
Are custom shapes and die-cuts available?

Yes. We supply custom die-cut frames, I/O port profiles, angled corners, and complex perimeter shapes. Share your DXF or drawing and we will confirm lead time and minimum order quantities.
Do you offer halogen-free variants?

Yes, halogen-free products are available on request — preferred for medical, automotive, and environmentally sensitive applications where strict material declarations are required.
What surfaces are the gaskets compatible with?

The Ni/Cu fiber construction is galvanically compatible with zinc-plated, chromate-treated, stainless steel, nickel-plated, and anodized aluminum surfaces. Please consult us for use on magnesium or bare aluminum where long-term galvanic effects may need evaluation.
